This year we did Our Pumpkins a little different.
We didn't carve them,
instead we used a glass jar, tissue paper, construction paper, and glue.
I think they turned out cute.

Great idea! We usually paint pumpkins instead of carve them to save on the mess, but at $5/pumpkin this year it will cost us $40 to get them all one. I like your less messy, less pricey option!
