Gymnastics Round 2

Bop has been asking if he could start gymnastics again so we signed him up.

His favorite part is climbing the rope. He can make it about 1/3 of the way up all by himself.

Our New Basment

The basement has been nothing more then storage up until now

My Aunt B was re-carpeting her house and I jumped at the chance to snatch up the old stuff.
Bampa is always up for building something new. He got to work on not just 1, but 4 swings for the kids.
Bop and Burner love to try and swing into each other.

Bampa knows how much Bop likes to climb things, like rock walls, so he built this small climbing wall (he plans on making it bigger soon).
At the top is a hole to climb through and on the other side is a fort.

Here is Bop chillin' in the fort.
There is a pulley system to get all their top secret stuff up into the fort.

It is a work in progress and Bampa is coming up with new ideas for it ever day. Since these pictures were taken, he has built;
A bridge that wobbles back and forth,
A fireman's pole to slide down.
and a ramp for the little kids to climb into the fort easier.

After bringing 5 crazy kids to McDonalds I can't help but wonder, did my parents not take us out to eat when I was younger because of the money factor, or more likely because they had 6 crazy kids.

Horses

Bop loves to ride his bike down the street to pet the horses. He has even named them all.

This one is Spencer Brownie. He is Bops favorite.
(The light colored one is Spirit, and not pictured is Horsey I Love you)

Burner loves to go see the horses, but he prefers to stay back and not pet them. I think this is as close as he will get before he cries.

...and then there is Aunt Pig.
She will cringe and run at the sight of bare feet.
She thinks they are so disgusting.
But she has no problem kissing a horse.
(In case you wondering how Burner got so close with out crying in this pic, he was crying and trying to get down)

Cabela's

All though it has been warmer, and I have wanted to do outdoor activities, the kids all wanted to go to Cabela's.

I wanted to get a pic of everyone by the famous fish, but those tanks hurt my eyes and make my head spin, so Bop, Burner and several of their friends posed in front of some of the animals for me instead.
When we walked in they gave us some free tokens for the shooting gallery.
Bop and his friends were excited to give it a try.

Bop was an okay height, but Burner was a little to short.

Burner thought this was a pretty good option. We didn't get yelled at for doing it, so I assume its okay to do. (Good logic right! )

All the other kids thought it was a cool idea too. It didn't take long before they all jumped up on the counter to shot.
( Burner jumped down right before this pic was taken. It would have been cooler if all 7 of them were still up there)

Snowy Zoo

For those of you who think we are crazy for going to the zoo when there is snow on the ground, your right! It was so cold, but the animals are a lot more active, so it is also a lot more exciting.
Bop, Burner and a few of their friends were mimicking the monkeys.

We stopped and had a snack with the Giraffes, Mema, Orange and Apple.

Bops favorite part was the baby elephant.
(you can't see it great in this pic, it is hiding behind Bops shoulder.)

Burner and Apple, had a lot of fun together...well half the time anyways. The other half of the time they spent fighting.
They are getting better at getting along, maybe one day they will be BFF's like Bop and Orange.

Blast Off!

Bop and Burner love to go to Blast Off when we visit
Grandma and Grandpa Far Away (Dad's Parents)

Burner loves to play in the ball pits (all 3 of them)
Bop loves the ball pits, the big balls, and sliding into small spaces.

Blast Off wouldn't be the same with out cousins there!
We love having them along.

All the kids love the tunnels.

Bop and Uncle S love the zip line!
All that play, is exhausting.
They needed to stop for some pizza and drinks.

even mom got in on the fun, and tried out all the activities.

Easter

We were lucky enough to spend Easter with Dad's Family up north.
The boys love being with their cousins.

The kids loved coloring the eggs. Burner just loved coloring himself blue, and his shirt green.

They were so exited to dig into their baskets Easter morning.
I was glad they waited for me to take a picture first.

Then off for the egg hunt.

The kids got bubbles in their baskets.
I was glad it was warm enough to go out and play with them.

Mmmm delicious dinner of prime rib.
Now this is what you call service!
Getting your shoes shined (for free) while you sleep!

On our way home we stopped by Mema's and colored some ceramic eggs.
Burner colored his hands blue, again!

The Gardens

The weather was supposed to be warm so we headed to The Gardens at Thanksgiving Point to feed the fish.

When we first got there it was cold, but I knew the boys would start running around and warm right up

They had a lot of fun feeding the fish

Then they, and their cousins, wanted to run up to the top of some stairs.
They ran up, struck a pose, then ran back down

The stairs did the "warming up" job, after that they took off their coats.

Burner and his cousin "Apple" (Aunt K's daughter) were so cute as they walked down to see the waterfall. They were holding each others hands and giggling. It was adorable.

Park

All though it has been really windy,
the weather has been warm,
so I gave in to the constant request of "lets go to the park"
(Not that I mind going to the park, I actually like it, I just hate it when it is cold.)

Burner spent almost the entire time coughing.
but I still managed to get a few cute pics of him smiling
Bop spent the whole time hiding from the camera.
I was only able to get one close up of him, swinging.

Fighting at School

I would have never imagined that you could get expelled for fighting in PRESCHOOL. But alas we will be looking for a new preschool for Bop.

Check out his shiner....but you should have seen the other guy.
