Newspaper Rock

Our latest hike was to a place known as Newspaper Rock. The official name is Rochester Panel Rock Art Site. But I think Newspaper rock sounds cooler, and is a lot easier to say.

After a short hike, we got to see some Native American rock art. The main wall is supposed to be a the story of a mans life. There is also little drawings all around the site.

Burner and Apple were really cute with the camel pack.
They both wanted to carry it so they could keep getting water out of it.

Dad showed Bop and Burner that you could use a small rock to make white marks on the big rocks. While walking back, Burner had to mark every big rock he could see.

Bop was terrified to get up here, but it made for a really cute picture of Dad and his boys.

When we got back, Bop got to work making his own Native American drawings.
